Hi, I'm Ray Maichin

I am a Vancouver based Photographer with a background in the Biological Sciences, specifically Animal Biology. My love for nature, wildlife, and conservation lead me to pursue an education in better understanding the subjects I love to shoot. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science at the University of British Columbia, my love for nature & wildlife only grew along with photography. Through school and other connections I have made I have been privileged enough to travel the world documenting amazing scenery and wildlife through my camera lens. I hope to communicate the importance of preserving local and international wildlife as well as the habitats that they reside in. When I'm not out in the natural world I fill my time shooting concerts, portraits, architecture, and real estate!
